In Road, Andrea Gonzales-Paul (now Di Bernardo) sings about the apathy she feels about meeting a new potential romantic partner. Having felt what it's like to be seen as a projection of another person's "dream girl" and not who she really is, she's dubious of the intentions of those she meets. Feeling used and chewed up by society and other people's unspoken demands, she's ready to leave-the relationship and the city, on her own, without you.
